Free. Made-up examples.

Free examples: the same steps, four small businesses

Before any offer, here is how the free steps look in practice. Every business below is made up and labelled that way. These show the steps working. They do not show results, clients gained or earnings.

Example 1: A freelance graphic designer

Example: made-up business, not a customer.

Problem. Posts say "new logo done!" with no context, and nobody knows what to ask for.

  1. One sentence (guide 1): "I help new cafes get clear menu cards and Instagram graphics, delivered in 3 days."
  2. Bio and enquiry path (guide 2): the same sentence, one proof (a sample menu card), and "Message me on WhatsApp for rates."
  3. One project, three posts (guide 3): explain, show, ask.

First-reply message

Hi, thanks for writing. To give you a proper quote, could you tell me what you need, your deadline and a rough budget? I will reply today.

Example 2: A freelance video editor

Example: made-up business, not a customer.

Problem. Great reels, but nobody knows how to hire. The bio and enquiry path is the main fix.

  1. One sentence: "I edit short videos for coaches, with captions in English and Hindi."
  2. Bio line 3 says in words how to enquire, and the same route is on every profile.

Price-enquiry reply

Thanks for writing. Short edits start at Rs [your price]. The final price depends on the length and how many revisions you need. Could you share the raw video length and your deadline? I can send a clear quote today.

Follow-up after a quote, 2 to 3 days later

Hi [name], just checking if you had a chance to look at the quote. Happy to adjust the scope if the budget is a concern.

Example 3: A freelance web designer

Example: made-up business, not a customer.

Problem. Clients ask "how much?" and disappear.

  1. A range-based reply with two questions (scope and deadline) and one next step.
  2. The follow-up sequence from guide 5: two messages at most, easy to say no.

Reply

Thanks for writing. A simple 5-page website starts at Rs [your price]. The final price depends on how many pages and how soon you need it. Could you tell me what the business does and your deadline? I can send a clear quote today.

Example 4 (home sellers): A home bakery in Hyderabad

Example: made-up business, not a customer.

Problem. Orders come by word of mouth and every customer asks the same questions on WhatsApp.

  1. WhatsApp Business: a greeting message, an away message and a short description.
  2. Five clear phone photos of five products, with prices or "price on request".
  3. A festival-week post plan: one explain post, one show post, one ask post.

Greeting message

Hi, welcome to [bakery name]! Tell us what you would like and your area, and we will reply with prices and delivery details.

The rule for these examples

They show the steps, not outcomes. No claims about clients gained, sales or earnings. Real examples with our own work will be added when we have them.

Then, and only then

Everything above works without us, and the guides and challenge stay free. If you want the whole month laid out so you only fill in your details, see the Growth Kit.
